Easier to Tag Content and Manage Taxonomies In-Platform#

Verawood makes content alignment a first-class part of the Studio authoring experience, with the tagging tool now more easily accessible from the course outline page — and a much improved experience for managing taxonomies themselves.

Easily tag at every level of your course. The new Align sidebar is available throughout Studio, letting you search for and apply taxonomy tags or learning outcome alignments to sections, subsections, units, and individual components — all without leaving the page you’re working on.

The Align sidebar lets you apply taxonomy tags at any level of the course structure.#

See your tags in context within the new Studio sidebar. The Info sidebar now surfaces taxonomy alignment information for any selected section, subsection, unit, or component — showing the number and names of applied tags at a glance, with a quick path to manage them via the kebab menu or the Align sidebar.

Redesigned taxonomy view pages. Taxonomy pages have been refreshed with a cleaner layout, making it easier to navigate and understand the structure of your taxonomies at a glance. Tag counts make it easier to track how and where tags are used.

Edit taxonomies directly in the platform. You can now add new tags and rename, edit, and delete existing tags without needing to export, modify, and re-import a taxonomy CSV file. This makes it much faster to keep your taxonomies accurate as your content and learning objectives evolve. Changes are automatically applied to course and library content.
